Have no Car Insurance in UK? Think Again!
This is a short notice for people in UK and information for US people.
Are you having a vacation in UK? Are you living in UK? If you are, you may already know that if you do not have car insurance, you risk yourself in losing your car. UK government has applied a law that every car in the road must have car insurance.
This law should prevent thousands of accidents from reckless drivers who don´t like to have car insurance.
If you are cough driving a car without car insurance, you will be stopped, and told to hand over your key in the middle of the road. You then have 14 days to get a car insurance to claim your car back. If you do claim, you have to pay the “secure parking” area to the police. This fee can accumulate until £315.
If you do not claim your car back within 14 days, your car will be crushed and melted. Just say goodbye to your car.
